Error invoking virtuoso IC615

ERROR (EMS-32): Unable to read the message catalog file /home/eda/ic615/tools/share/cdssetup/errormessage/viva.msg because EMS was unable to open the file.
Check if the file exists and if the module has the permission to read the file.

Fatal Error at file "", line 0, column 0
Message: An exception occurred! Type:RuntimeException, Message:The primary document entity could not be opened. Id=/home/eda/ic615/tools/tools/dfII/etc/catena/messages/ctuVSRMsgs.xml

Fatal Application error occured
Cannot run cdsCrashReport
please check your Cadence installation
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

the /cdssetup is located in /home/eda/ic615/share/ and not in /tools. Please help to resolve this error when virtuoso is started from work directory.

    I can't solve your problem because I don't have access to Virtuoso at this time but in the second error message there is a reference to

    .../ic615/tools/tools/... directory.

    I think somewhere you have an extra /tools definition in your path. Look at your installation path, the variable CDS_INST_DIR or something like that. That extra /tools would also show up in the cdssetup path.
