Abutment issue when using lxGenFromSource

Hi,

I am doing a gen from source using the following skill command:
lxGenFromSource(cv_schematic ?layLibName schLib ?layCellName schCell ?layViewName "layout" ?initDoStacking nil)

then moving instances (using the dbMoveFig command) in the newly created layout via skill script. However, I am seeing that the abutment of devices is not working properly (ie. contacts don't get dropped and parameters relating to left/right dummy poly are not updated).
Is there a way to abutment works properly via skill script instead of having to go in and manually fix all of the devices which should be abutted?

Thanks,
Elizabeth

dbMoveFig does not trigger the abutment engine. If you are working in an editing window, you can execute hiUpdate() after the move and the engine will trigger. I don't know if there is an equivalent SKILL interface to the abutment engine, yet.

    Elizabeth,

Further to what Ted says, I'd suggest you contact customer support so that we can work through your exact requirements and see what we can do to solve your problem.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
