Cadence IC5.141 with NCSU design kit 1.2 or 1.5

archive
archive over 18 years ago

I recently updated the cadence IC from 5.033 to 5.141 and now I could not change any device parameters in the schematic. I am using NCSU CDK 1.2 and have also tried it with version 1.5. Things were working fine before the upgrade.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Which subversion of IC5141 are you using? I recall there were some problems with callbacks in the schematic editor around IC5141 USR2, which in certain situations prevented parameter updates.

Can you be a bit more specific about what you're doing that doesn't work?

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    sub-version 5.10.41.500.3.31 (32-bit addresses)

I am using the above subversion. I did something that fixed the problem at least in NCSU CDK 1.2. Still CDK 1.5 is not working for me. All I am trying to do is change W & L parameters. Whenever I change it, it goes back to its original values.
