Set different temperature in a complete chip

 Hi,

I'm wondering if it's possible to set individualy the temperature for each subcircuit with cadenceOA and mmsim ?

Imagine a cellview with temperature=125°C and another cellview = 80°C.

 Possible ?

Thanks,

Loic

Actually, the supported way to set the temperature per block (using the MMSIM12.1 feature that Marc mentions) is to use the "MTS" (Multi Technology Support) capability in ADE GXL. This can be accessed via Right Mouse->MTS Options over the test name in the Data View assistant in ADE XL/GXL. You can then set the temperature per block as needed.

Editing the CDF probably won't be sufficient, because it won't netlist the temp parameter unless it is used inside the schematic - so you'd have to jump through various hoops to make that happen.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
