LVS switches needed for extraction of additional parameters for MOSFETS in PVS

Hello everyone,

Please can anyone indicate the LVS switches required for extraction of intrinsic capacitance etc for MOSFETS in PVS/LVS. I know that for calibre we can use "PEX_RUN=TRUE " to acheive this.

Regards

    Hi Sohaib

PVS does not extract parasitic capacitance. This is done by the downstream tool QRC. Some foundries use the same PEX_RUN switch in PVS decks to enable the extraction of special lvs parameters. If such a switch is present in your deck, I think you can also enable it.
