libxrender.so.1 problem

Hi,

I am getting this problem when I run the library path editor in CIW. It says "/opt/cadence/installs/IC615/tools/dfII/bin/32bit/cdsLibEditor : error while loading shared libraries: LibXrender.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" !!!

Does anyone know how to overcome this problem.

Thanks

You have a package missing on your OS. I checked on both an RHEL5 and RHEL6 machine - here's what I got:

    RHEL5> rpm -q -f /usr/lib/libXrender.so.1
    libXrender-0.9.1-3.1.i386

    RHEL6> rpm -q -f /usr/lib/libXrender.so.1
    libXrender-0.9.5-1.el6.i686

So you need to install the libXrender package on the machine.

    Kind Regards,

    Andrew.
