license virtuoso schematic editor XL

Hello,

I am working with Cadence 6.1.5 . We have the license for virtuoso schematic editor XL. When I create a schematic view cell or a verilogA view, I get this message " could not get license virtuoso schematic editor L" and no window is open nor a view is created. What I understood is that it is not looking for the license XL. Is it a possible way to force it to use the XL license by default instead of the L. Any other suggestions to resolve this  issue ?

    Hi Kjabeur,

    please try to add this line to your .cdsenv :

    license VSELicenseCheckoutOrder    string "XL,L"

    or put it like this into your .cdsinit :

    envSetVal("license" "VSELicenseCheckoutOrder"    'string "XL,L")

    With this setting the VSE tool will  try to find the XL license first.
