say, if I have an instance named I2<1:0>, can i set different views for I2<1> and I2<0>?

I am using IC615.

No. There have been a number of enhancement requests for this, but it's not available currently. If you want this, I suggest requesting it via customer support to increase the likelihood of it being implemented.
