Cadence IC 5.1 Libmanager problem

Dear Team,

After new installation, while starting cadence i am getting following error.

*Error* strcat: argument #1 should be either a string or a symbol (type template = "S") - nil

/cad/cadence_install_icfb/tools.lnx86/dfII/bin/wavescan: 1: /cad/cadence_install_icfb/tools.lnx86/dfII/bin/wavescan: cds_plat: not found

sh: 1: /cad/cadence_install_icfb/tools.lnx86/dfII/bin/libManager: not found

 sh: 1: /cad/cadence_install_icfb/tools.lnx86/dfII/bin/libSelect: not found

It is showing not found but that files already exist with read write access in installation directory.

kindly update me how to solve this issue.

 Regards,

darshak

    Darshak,

My guess is that your OS doesn't have /bin/csh installed. This should be provided by the "tcsh" RPM.

You can check by doing "ls -l /bin/csh" (it should be a link to tcsh on Linux).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
