strmin error (XSTRM-1048)

When trying to stream in a particular GDS file in IC615 I get the following error after a bunch of cells translate correctly:

ERROR (XSTRM-1048): Number of points for a line must be at least two

Any idea how to identify the problem?  Is there an option to ignore?  Should I be able to find this in a stream out log since I created the stream file?

 Thanks

-Dan

    Dan,

On the Geometry tab for both stream out and stream in there's a "report bad polygons and paths" checkbox. I'd expect this to do it.

Did the stream out happen in IC61X? I'm surprised because I thought this was illegal in Open Access... (maybe I'm wrong). Or was it migrated from IC5141?

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Hi Dan,

sometimes I have seen data that represent non-geometric information.

"Lines" (defined as zero width paths in the GDS) and "dots" (defined as zero width, single point paths in the GDS).

oaDot and oaLine are legal OA objects but I haven't checked how this gets handled in the latest xstream translator.

In earlier releases they were translated correctly.

Can you confirm that the objects did get created correctly?

If they were generated correctly then the error message should really be a warning message.

    Colin

parts of the design were migrated from IC5141 but the whole database is IC61 now and the streamout was done with the same IC61 version as the stream in.  I tried checkPolygon and without checkPolygon in the stream in.  Looks like during stream out I did not have checkPolygon selected so I'll try that.

     Hi Colin,

The streamin actual fails on that error and stops translating so I only have some of the structures.
