Hi,

Is optimization tool available for virtuoso IC6.1.5.72?

What is the advantage of the optimization tool in simulation?

Yes. ADE GXL offers several optimizer options - for example, local and global optimization, yield improvement and so on. Read the documentation for more detail.
The advantage of optimization is that it optimizes your design for whatever specification you give it... seems a bit of a vague question so you got a vague answer!
