problem with flattern cell view in layout

hello,

In schematic driven layout, when I use "GEN FROM SOURCE" option it creates single layer layout of each and every components and then I tried to flattern it by going into Hierarachy in menu and it will show multiple layers to me that's fine but when I select a layout of particular component then corresponding component in schematic should highlighted but this is not happening , mean suppose I have 4 capacitors than I never know which layout is of which capacitor.

I assume you're using the "Flatten" menu item under the Edit->Hierarchy menu. You shouldn't do that.

Instead, increase the display depth (usually the shift-F bindkey, or on Options->Display (set the Display Stop Level to 32) or on the Options tool bar you can set the display depth.

At least I'm guessing that's what your problem was...

    Regards,

    Andrew.
