Virtuoso 6.1.5 warnings issues

I need some help if possible on the following issue:

*WARNING* (reader): string at line 1 was not terminated on EOF, '"' added at line 2 of string "...)"

I made a lot of search on google unfortunately without success.

If you run "virtuoso -nocdsinit" do the warnings go away?

Using "virtuoso -nocdsinit" didn't resolve the problem. Below is the output generated in the CIW.

Djamal,
Can you check the contents of your ~/.cdsenv file (and possibly .cdsenv in working directory and <ICinstDir>/tools/dfII/local/.cdsenv if it exists) and post it here?

Hi Andrew,
First I want just to notify you on our time zone and weekend:
Time Zone = GMT+1 (or UTC+1)
Weekend = Friday + Saturday

My .cdsenv under my home directory contains the following three lines:

The .cdsenv located in my working directory is given in an attached text file.
While for the last one ( <ICinstDir>/tools/dfII/local/.cdsenv ), the <local> directory itself dose not exist. In the case it will help the listing of our ICinstDir is given below.

Djamal,
This is cased by lines 55-60 of the .cdsenv in your working directory that you uploaded. I don't believe continuation characters are supported in .cdsenv (the backslash on each line). If you combine the entire entry onto a single line:
spectre.envOpts modelFiles string "$CDK_DIR/models/spectre/standalone/tsmc25N.m $CDK_DIR/models/spectre/standalone/tsmc25P.m $CDK_DIR/models/spectre/standalone/tsmc35N.m $CDK_DIR/models/spectre/standalone/tsmc35P.m $CDK_DIR/models/spectre/standalone/ami06N.m $CDK_DIR/models/spectre/standalone/ami06P.m"
Then the warnings go away.

Andrew,

It's fantastic the warnings have been disappeared. Thank you so much for your help and especially for the time you spent on the debugging process.
In what follow I wonder and would like just to have your opinion. The output generated in the CIW still show two warnings which are directly related to the ncsu-cdk-1.6.0.beta. On the web some peoples say that we can ignore those warnings (unfortunately I didn't save the web link).

Hi Djamal,
In IC5141 there were cdsenv settings:
asimenv.plotting width int 564
asimenv.plotting height int 428
which governed the size of the old AWD waveform window (I think). These were removed in IC61. It appears that the NCSU kit is still trying to set them.
The warnings are benign though - all it is telling you is that you are trying to set some cdsenv settings that have not been registered - and as a result, they will have no effect.
So you can safely ignore them. Or you can edit the cdsenv file it mentions and remove those two entries if you want to make the output a bit cleaner - but it won't make any difference at all to the behaviour.
