Layout GXL: Flight wires not displaying

Hello,

I've got a problem with Layout GXL. From my schematic I created a layout. In Layout GXL I inserted all parts with Connectivity - Generate - All From Schematic. My problem is, that the flight wires are not displayed. I tried the Option Connectivity - Nets - Show/Hide all incomplete nets or I checed Options - Display - Nets but also this does not dispay any nets.

Can you help me?

Wy are no flight wires or nets displayed?

Best regards

    Which vesion are you using? I don't see a "Connectivity - Insert - All From Schematic" menu (I don't recall that in previous versions either). Maybe it is some customization or third-party tool which is not transferring the nets in the database?

    What do you get if you type in the CIW:

    geGetEditCellView()~>nets~>name
    geGetEditCellView()~>nets~>term~>name
    geGetEditCellView()~>nets~>instTerms

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Hello,

    I use the cadence version "IC615 C35B4". Virtuoso Layout Suite has version IC6.1.5-64b.500.132. And sorry it is not "Connectivity - Insert - All From Schematic" it is "Connectivity - Generate - All From Schematic" instead. And it worked for another cell, therefore I don't understand why flight wires are not displayed now.

    Here are the outputs of the commands:

    geGetEditCellView()~>nets~>name

    ("Vsp" "Vdd" "in" "Vsn" "GND")

    geGetEditCellView()~>nets~>term~>name

    ("Vsp" "Vdd" "in" "Vsn" "GND")

    geGetEditCellView()~>nets~>instTerms

    (nil nil nil nil nil)

     Best regards,

    There doesn't appear to be any connectivity in your layout apart from the pins. Did you do Connectivity->Generate->All from Schematic again? Or Connectivity->Update->Components and Nets? Check for any error messages you might get in the CIW when you do these.

    I tried the version you're using and saw no problems.

    If this doesn't help, I suggest you contact customer support as we'll need to take a look at your data to find out what has gone wrong.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Hello,

    and thank you for your help. I could solve my problem with Connectivity -> Define Device Correspondence. It seems that the link between layout and scematic was lost.

    Best regards
