Interactive verilogA models in Spectre

Dear all,

I have questions related to the Verilog-A models in Spectre,

- can I create three voltage-controlled current sources using Verilog-A and use it in the same schematic page since two of them are controlled by the other one in a nonlinear equation of time.

- Is the Verilog-A is the right choice to do so.

- At the end I should create many of these circuits and connect it to each other as a neural network, that means there is an interactions between those models, Could Verilog-A be used in interactive models or just could be used as an only  input/output device model?

- What ia about spice models and Skill language?

The circuit I'm trying to build is in the attached figure.

Thank you in advance,

    1. Yes
    2. Yes
    3. Not sure what you mean by 'interactive model" but since spectre solves the set of simultaneous non-linear differential equations from the entire circuit, this should be no problem.
    4. Could use spice macro modelling (using built in components such as r's and c's and controlled sources) but this may be harder to understand than verilog-a. SKILL is not an option.

Thank you so much for your help.

I meant by interactive models the way of cellular cells to contact each other since at time t the cell c0 for example will receive inputs from other cells, at time t1 the calculated voltage/current of the cell c0 will be input for another cell and so on.

    Thank you again,

    Sali
