Distortion in Audio Power Amplifiers

Sorry if this forum is not the right place ... It's the first time for me, and I'm quite new on the topic. Thanks.
I'm designing (simulating with PSPICE) audio power amplifiers. An important issue is the amount of distortion I get from them. Let me assume that the BJT models are accurate.
My main (unavoidable) problem is that they take some finite time to settle down, and the simulation with some degree of accuracy until the amplifier stabilizes takes a lot of time.
Trying with different combinations of the parameters of the TRANsient analysis I get (with the .four directive) different results, so I'm never sure of what would be a realistic distortion spectrum.
What is the appropriate recipe to get realistic values ?
