Cadence freeze after "Check and Save" command is Composer schematics

Hello,

I have imported a symbol into a new composer schematic to create a test bench. But when i connect sources and pins and press "check and save" tab the cadence freezes and all i can do then is to kill that process. I have checked CDS.log file in detail and there seems to be no issue. Interestingly one i go one step down into the symbol and press check and save, everything seems allright. Secondly: when cadence is freezed, and after i have killed the process, when i open the schematics again the change i made is saved......Any thoughts?

     Hi Eugene,

that's not enough info even for an educated guess.  What version are you running ( ciw-help-about) ?
Can you show us the last part of your CDS.log starting where you add the symbol?

    Regards,

    Rapunzel
