Stream out to ascii dump file supported in Virtuoso 6.1.5?

Hello,

I am using Virtuoso 6.1.5 and I'd like to stream out my layout to an ascii dump file. There are a few examples on the web that show how to do this, like this one, for example (search "ascii dump" (without quotes) to find the section I am referring to):

www.utdallas.edu/.../Page10969.htm

However, my stream out pop up window looks nothing like the older versions, and it doesn't look like the ascii dump option is available in my version of Virtuoso.

Is there a way to stream out to an ascii dump file in Virtuoso 6.1.5?

The stream out interface in IC61X doesn't support output to ASCII. See solution 11632232. This gives a possible workaround using a utility to convert a stream file to ASCII (albeit a utility unsupported by Cadence, but provided in the solution).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
