Hi Andrew, 

Is it possible to convert or replace a path-segment  into a path using skill commands in CIW ?

    Yes, although you'd probably have to code for all the special cases - and in some cases you won't be able to do exactly the same thing because they are not equivalent. I'm not sure why you want this - in general path segments are preferred over paths nowadays.

    procedure(CCFchangePathSegToPath(pathSeg)
      prog1(
        dbCreatePath(pathSeg~>cellView pathSeg~>lpp list(pathSeg~>beginPt pathSeg~>endPt) pathSeg~>width)
        dbDeleteObject(pathSeg)
      )
    )

    Then I can do: CCFchangePathSegToPath(car(geGetSelSet())) - if I only have a single pathSeg selected.
