Hello,

Can anyone tell me how to turn on soft_bin=allmodels option in the simulator ? I don't see any option in the IC 5.14 ADE > Simulation > Options > Analog.

You can type it into the Additional Parameters field at the bottom of that form.

    Regards,

I tried putting soft_bin=allmodels in the additional parameters as specified, but got this

WARNING (SFE-30): "input.scs" 3284786: Parameter `soft_bin', specified for primitive `tran', has been ignored because it is an invalid instance parameter. Specify a valid instance parameter and rerun the simulation. Type `spectre -h tran' to get more information on valid instance parameters.

    Any solutions/suggestions?

You've put it in the wrong place. As I said above, this needs to go on Simulation->Options->Analog - in the additional parameters (at the bottom in IC5141, and in IC61X I think it's on the Misc tab). Rather than specifying it as a global option (see "spectre -h options") you've tried to add it as a parameter to the tran analysis, and that doesn't make sense.

    Andrew.
