Transistor Finger/Multiplier does not work

Hello,

There are two prior post on the same issue but none have solution to my problem.

Issue is the fingers and the multiplier option does not work while instantiating NMOS/PMOS transistors. Meaning if I change fingers from 1 to 16 in "Edit Object Properties" it does not take effect. The SPECTRE netlist always shows "m=1" irrespective of value in "Number of Fingers" field.

I have noticed that ICFB flags following message when I try to change "Number of Fingers":

 CDF: An error occured when evaluating callback.

Callback: fingers --> callback => tsmc18rf_nmos2v_CB

Message:  *Error* eval: undefined function - tsmc18rf_nmos2v_CB

 I'm using IC 5.10.41. Can anyone please help?  Also, please tell me what additional information I can provide to receive meaningful help.

    Something is clearly wrong with the PDK - either the PDK itself, or the installation.The error is telling you that the callback function (which is used to compute derived parameters) is missing.

    I do recall in the past that certain PDKs made the assumption that the hspiceD or hspiceS interface was installed - they tried to do some customization in the library's libInit.il file which made that assumption; this failed because the interface wasn't installed, and because of that it failed to load the callbacks or similar. I'm not sure if that's the issue in your case.

    You should be able to identify this - if you start a fresh "icfb" session and then open a schematic containing devices from the tsmc18rf library, do you get any errors reported in the CIW? If so, what are they?

    You might be able to solve this by installing  your IC5141 installation and picking all products when you install it, rather than being selective.

    Other than that, I think you should contact TSMC, because it's an issue with their PDK.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
