Error setting noise parameter in vsource

I am getting an error when trying to set the noise parameter of a vsource.  It works for me when I use noise type = "noise voltage".  However, when I try and use SSB Phase Noise, I get the following error:

Error found by spectre during initial setup.

ERROR (CMI-2193): V1: A value is negative in the noise vector.

 I am using 2 noise/freq pairs.  Freq1 = 1M, Noise 1 = -110, Freq 2=100M, Noise 2 = -140.

Obviously, it doesn't like the negative value.  However, a SSB specification has to be negative.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Geoff

    Hi Geoff,

Would you please append the vsource line from your netlist here?  That way I can try it out.

I was using MMSIM12. I switched to MMSIM13.10. I still get an error, but the message is different: Error found by spectre during initial setup. ERROR (CMI-2913): V1: At least one frequency in freqvec or in freq and freq2 should be greater than zero for noisetype=ssbphasenoise.

    best regards,
