Interactive AMS

    I am using AMS to simulate the top level of a chip.  I am using 5.1 version of the tools.  Currently I am launching AMS using ADE and running in interactive mode(ie with simvision).  I would like to be able to run for some amount of time and then pause the simulation.  After pausing, I would like to be able to save additional nodes, or create forces for nodes.  I do not want to change any analog parameters.  From looking through the documentation, it seems to say that this cannot be done when using the analog solver and old parser.  I have tried to do this with my setup, and I have not been succesful.  My question is "Is there a method to run AMS in version 5.1 that would allow me to do something like this.  I want to be able to change what nodes are being saved, and what digital nodes are being forced."
