     Hi Karthik,

Matched Length is a net constraint, means you need to select two nets  ( in the Navigator Assistant) and select that constraint in the Constraint Manager. There is a large section about it in the Constraint User Guide so I would advise to read the documentation.

     There you also find this:

      Supporting Applications:

Virtuoso Space-based Router, Virtuoso Layout Optimize, Virtuoso Layout Migrate / Yield Optimize, Encounter Digital Implementation (EDI)

So you see that the interactiv wire editor in the layout tool is not watching that constraint.  Please read the documentation, and if there is still a question open, come back and ask.

    Kind regards,

    Marc

    Hi Karthik

The matched length constraint is meant to be used by Virtuoso Space-based Router (VSR) and not for controlling of net length during manual routing. When matched length constraint is set on 2 nets, an autorouter will attempt to match it using different techniques. One commonly applied technique is to create "S" shapes on one of the nets to lengthen it so that it matches the length of the other net.

    Best regards
    Quek
