XL Layout issue with custom Library layout sourcing the Schematic.

I have a custom inverter layout that I built and my problem that I have is that when I do an update the on my layout the update takes my cutom layout cells and replaces them in pmos and nmos transistors. What I want is to have the layout source the Libray Schematic. I looked in the guide and found only something about using a "lxStopList". However is doesn't give me an example of how to impliment this correctly so that my layout points to the Standard libray schematic.

You can add the lxUseCell property to an instance of a cell, or you can add the lxUseCell property as a CDF parameter to a cell.

You can use the lxViewList and lxStopList properties to specify which layout view to use.

Any help on how to get me layout cell to source the standard Libray schematic would be great. Oh and I'm using Cadence 5.1.4.
