Hello Experts,

I have saved the above model as .scs on my desktop and have loaded the model onto the spectre, But when I run it . I am getting the following error.

Error found by spectre during circuit read-in.
ERROR (SFE-868): "input.scs" 9: Unable to open input file `/home/rajalaban/Desktop/tsmc18d.scs'.
        Permission denied.

Please help me, I am stuck.

Presumably the UNIX permissions are incorrect on the file. Do:

    ls -l  /home/rajalaban/Desktop/tsmc18d.scs

to see what they are. You can then do:

    chmod a+r /home/rajalaban/Desktop/tsmc18d.scs

to add read access for all users. If they were open anyway, maybe the Desktop directory is not readable?

Either way, this is nothing to do with the Cadence tools - it's a simple UNIX permissions issue. Hopefully you can resolve that or find somebody locally who knows UNIX/Linux?

    Regards,

    Andrew.
