    Karthik,

Go to Community->Search and search for "Find results with all the words" set to "bindkey change via". Hopefully one of those will help you (you didn't say whether you're using IC5141 or IC61x, as the solution would need to be different between the two since vias are represented differently in CDB and OA).

    Regards,

    Andrew.

     Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your response. As you told, I searched through the community search, and the results are only for IC51X. I am searching for IC615. There is no results, related to which i want. So please provide me an idea to use that bindkey in IC615.

    Regards,

    Karthik.

    Karthik,

The fact that vias are very different between IC51 and IC61 is a very good example of why the forum guidelines suggest that you mention the version you're using - that way you can get focussed answers.

There is a lot of discussion about this (changing vias) in this thread. I've pointed you to a post in the middle, which does talk a bit about doing something similar and I mentioned that there's not a clean way to remaster an existing via. You're OK changing the parameters of the via (read the whole thread), but if you want to change from one via to another, you have to delete it and then recreate it using dbCreateVia. You could capture the important parameters of the existing via and then use those for the new (different) via that you're creating. That's (sort of) covered in the thread.

You may also want to also contact customer support so that you can also request a cleaner way to remaster a via.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
