PVS - Cadence Physical Verification System

Hi all,

Please can you give us the advice how can we integrate PVS into virtuoso environment?  We install it, but PVS menu dont appear in virtuoso layout menu. Does it some variables setting? thank a lot

  • Hi Martin,

    All I have us <PVSinstDir>/bin or <PVEinstDir>/bin in my UNIX path (so I can type "which pvs" and it returns the pvs executable). No special environment variables needed.

    Then (if in IC616) I use Launch->Plugins->PVS (in the layout window) to add the PVS menus. In IC615 it's  Launch->PVS.

    Which IC version are you using (Help->About in the CIW, and which PVS version (type "pvs -version" in a UNIX window)?
