Netlist Error

Well basically the problem began when I moved my folders from one directory to another directory. This problem never occured before then. When I open a layout, and run Analog Environment simulator, I get the error "can't find the date xxx/yyy/layout was last extracted. None of the properties 'lastSchematicExtraction' or 'syLastExtraction' was found". Now when I run Analog Environemnt through the extracted and schematic view, the simulation will run perfectly fine. I'm really at a loss for ideas of what to do.

  • Hi,

    layout views are not used for simulation in ADE. There is no device
    or connection information in a layout view.

    You should use extracted or av_extracted views for simulation.
