parametric analysis of mosfet length and width

Hi,

I am trying to simulate the variation of rise time and fall time wrt the mosfet dimensions.....  while I am able to simulate the analysis by setting the length as a variable and get the simulation output, when i set the width as a variable, the properties like source diffusion area, drain diffusion area etc turns to an expression(which i believe is normal) but when i netlist and run the simulation, additional design variables are added and the simulation returns an error. Is there anyway to overcome this  error?
