leChopShape is IC616

Hi,

I have astatement as leChopShape(dfc_donutID list(0:0 dfc_i_FirstX:dfc_i_FirstY dfc_i_SecondX:dfc_i_SecondY 0:0) t t 300 ) which worked fine in ic5 but gives me an error message as "*Error* leChopShape: argument #1 should be a database object (type template = "dlggxg") - nil"

When I looked at the dfc_donutID in ic5 it is something like  db247290896 and in IC6 it is like db:0x17eae412. Probably this is the issue?

Any advises pl?

The difference in print representation won't make a difference - they're still database objects - it's just how they're printed.

The issue is that leChopShape is not getting a database object at all as the first argument - it's getting nil. So the value cannot be  db:0x17eae412 - it's nil. Presumably something is going wrong with the code that is getting the value - you'll need to debug. Using the SKILL IDE would allow you to put a breakpoint on the leChopShape line and then check the values going into the function.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
