 Dear All,

I want to see/know the model file/netlist of "xfmr" componentpresent in cadence anlaogLib.

Could anybody please tell at what location I can  find that ?

Kind Regards,

The question is not about pspice, but analogLib (in the IC tools). The xfmr component corresponds to the "transformer" component in spectre, and only the parameters n1 (Number of turns on primary), n2 (Num of turns on secondary) and m (Multiplier) are use. For Hspice, it uses k (Coupling coefficient), pi (Primary inductor) and si (Secondary inductor).

For spectre, see "spectre -h transformer" for more details. For hspice I believe it netlists as two inductors and a mutual inductance between them.

So there's no "model" as such - it's a built-in primitive in the simulator (for spectre).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
