To add Assura Physical Layout Verification tool to Virtuso

I am a graduate student at University of Arizona. We use the TSMC 0.25 micron CMOS PDK as the start data base for my school project. The TSMC PDK accompany with the Assura layout verification (e.g., DRC, EXT, LVS etc.), but the Virtuso layout tool does not have the Assura radio button on the display panel. How can we add the Assura radio button in Virtuso, so we can use the Assura deck? Thanks for your help, D. Nguyen

You need to have Assura installed (e..g ASSURA316) in its own hierarchy, and then have the ASSURAHOME UNIX environment variable set and pointing to the installation root of the Assura installation.

If you do that, then the Assura menus will appear in the layout editor.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

To where should Assura environment variable be set?
i.e. should it be like that for example? :
    export ASSURAHOME=/usr/local/ASSURA314

    Thanks in advance,
