controlling analog stop time via command line

All,

I need to override the simulation time which is specified in the analog control file via command line.

Ideally using -spectre_args "???"

Any ideas if this is possible?

Thanks

One way would be to make the analog control file have:

    tran tran stop=MYSTOP

and then from the command line use:

    -spectre_args -DMYSTOP=3u

    etc.

You could also potentially use a Tcl file using -input, but it would get a bit complicated if you do that. You'd have to do:

    run
    analog-stop 4us
    run

if you wanted to extend it beyond your default value in the analog control file, and:

    run 1us

if you wanted it shorter than the default.

So probably the -D approach is simpler.

    Andrew.
