Access design parameter in Monte Carlo export statement

I have the following:

parameters vdd=1

mc1 montecarlo .....{

.....

export tflip=oceanEval("cross(v(\"outn\" ?result 'tran) 0.5 1 \"falling\" nil nil  )")

 }

This works but I would like to access the vdd design parameter in the oceanEval expression like this:

 export tflip=oceanEval("cross(v(\"outn\" ?result 'tran) vdd/2 1 \"falling\" nil nil  )")

I tried the VAR(\"vdd\")/2 but spectre complains that it cannot evaluate the ocean expression.

Any help is appreciated.

    If this was that urgent, you should have contacted customer support. Remember that replies here are done by volunteers in the community and also within Cadence. Personally I've been travelling all week, and so couldn't reply.

    You need to use VAR("vdd")/2 in your expression to access the design variable. Assuming everything is consistent that should work.

    So that would be VAR(\"vdd\") of course. You also need to ensure that you have:

       designParamVals info what=parameters where=rawfile

    within the montecarlo analysis because otherwise it won't be saving the parameter values for the VAR() function to look up.

    Andrew.
