Input Reffered noise in VGA (Variable Gain Amplifier)

 Hi,
I have to calculate "Input Referred noise" of variable gain amplifier.  I choosed analysis--> noise -->  freq. range,
output noise [voltage] +ve and -ve node.

input noise [port] port source

simulation -->
1- direct plot -->noise -->input noise --> v/sqrt(Hz)
2- results ->print --> noise summary
values of noises in 1 and 2 different
could anyone explain me why this happens. ?
I am using ADE L (IC6.1.5.500.8. )
regards,

    You've not really given much information to go on - such as how big the difference is, or how you've filled out the noise summary form.

    For a start, the noise summary normally outputs in V^2 rather than V unless you specify otherwise - and you're doing a spot noise rather than a sweep versus frequency.

    From the quick test I ran the results were consistent.

    Andrew.
