How to import/export y0,y1...y3 layers along with tech-layers

 Dear All,

I have added some layers of  y0,y1...y3 in my chip-layout.

I exported it to create a .gds file.

I then tried to import the .gds file.

To that end, I created a New library. I attached the PDK tech file to it.

Then I Stream In the .gds file to this  library.

But the  layers y0,y1,y2..y3 are NOT visible. I also did in LSW:- Edit-->Set Valid Layers-->All Valid.

Still I am not able to see this layered-shapes.

Could anybody please tell how this issue can be fixed.

Kind Regards,

Are the y0...y3 layers defined in your layermap file used by the stream tool?

Look at the stream out log and it will tell you if it output the shapes on those layers. It should show you the layer/datatype numbers the shapes were mapped to.

If the shapes were output, look at your stream in log to see what lpp's the shapes mapped to.

    Ted
