ADE XL remains in "pending" state

hello,

i decided to try ADE XL as i wanted to run temp/corner sweeps.  i was able to set everything up, but when i start the simulation, it just sits in "pending" state until the sim times-out.  has anyone encountered a similar issue, or has suggestions i can try?

thanks in advance for the help.

    Dear David0526,

There is not of information to go by, but a few thoughts come to mind:

    1. Are you sure your jobs are not pending due to a license issue? In other words, if Cadence cannot get a license to start a job, it will time out at the time out setting you have specified.

    2. There is a check box in the Options->Job Setup menu to start jobs immediately. Is that checked?

    3. The various time outs are programmable. I've attached a copy of the set I use that start to submit jobs to an LSF immediately if it helps.
