adding cdsTerm("") on new symbols automatically.

Hi,

While creating a new symbol in virtuoso I add these Illabels  cdsTerm("...")  manually near the pins to get the votlages annotated after sims.

Is there any way to get them automatically during symbol creation?

Thanks,

Vamshi

    Hi Vamshi,

Yes, you need to set it up to use the "analog" template, for example, you can put the following in your .cdsenv file:

    schematic tsgTemplateType string "artist"

The value can be "artist" or "analog" to get the cdsTerm() labels etc., the default setting for the template type is "digital".

    This should answer your question.

    Regards,

    Lawrence.
