How the default lebelling letter type can be made "roman" instead of "stick"

Dear All,

I am using IC5141. In my setting the default labelling (both in case of schematic and layout ) is coming in "stick" letter.

I like to have default "roman"

Could anybody please tell, what modification can achieve this ?

Kind Regards,

There are several .cdsenv variables that can be set.  Try the following:

    layout  labelFontStyle cyclic  "roman"

    schematic  createLabelFontStyle  cyclic  "roman"

    schematic  instLabelFontStyle  cyclic  "roman"

    schematic  noteFontStyle  cyclic  "roman"

    schematic pinLabelFontStyle  cyclic  "roman"

    schematic symbolLabelFontStyle  cyclic  "roman"

    Regards,

    TOM

    Dear Tom,

    Thanks for your reply.

Looks like * schematic pinLabelFontStyle  cyclic  "roman"  * is NOT working.

I am still getting stick for PIN label But in all other cases it is working fine.

Could you please tell why it is so ?

    Kind Regards,

I'm away from my computer right now so I can't try it myself, but a quick check of the documentation suggests that you need to enable the ability to set the pin label font style before setting it.  Try to following:

    schematic  pinLabelSetFontStyle  boolean  t

    schematic  pinLabelFontStyle  cyclic  "roman"

Odd that this is the only one that seems to need to be enabled before setting it, but that's what it looks like to me.

    Regards,

    TOM
