add new layer

I was trying to add a new layer purpose pair using the technology file toolbox. I need to make a new layer for a new device structure. I want to know whats the display resource packet and how do I make a new display resource packet for the layer.

Please read the documentation - in particular the "Technology File and Display Resource File User Guide" which can be found in cdsdoc. Alternatively, look at the PDF via /techfileuser/techfileuser.pdf

There's a chapter on the Display Resource File - which is the file which defines packets (a packet is a collection of line style, fill style, line colour and fill colour), and you reference a packet name when you add a layer-purpose-pair in the technology file.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
