IC6 Environment Variables

In the Virtuoso Connectivity-Driven Layout lab there are environment variables that need to be set in order to have access to certain tools such as:

CDS_ENABLE_TUNNEL

MG_ENABLE_PTOT

MG_USE_EXTRAS

MG_ENABLE_DUMMYPARAMS

I have tried searching in Cadence Help and on these forms for these and more environment variables, but I can not find any information.  Where is the IC6 environment variables documentation located?

Also, why aren't the tools linked to these variables automatically loaded when IC6 is started?  It seems like there could be IC6 functionality that we are unaware of since these variables and tools are not automatically loaded.

Thanks,

Stephanie

I would suspect that these variables enable prototype functionality which is not for general use. Check with your AE.
