Simulating OpenAcess design using spectre

Hello,

I am new to circuit simulation. I want to do post layout simulation for that I need to run spectre simulation on my design.

I want to ask that do I need extracted view to run post layout simulation ?

If I want to measure the frequency what should commands should I use in my include in my testcase ?

Any basic tutorial to post layout simulation will also be appreciated

Thanks

Yes, you need to extract the layout using some extraction engine (QRC?) to create an extracted view. From this, a netlist view is created which is given to the simulator. The PDK should include an extraction deck for your engine.
