ADE GXL-Global Optimization

Hi,

I am using Cadence 6.1.5. I am trying to run Global Optimization in ADE GXL. The design is an op-amp, analysis is ac. In variables and parameters window, I set input transistors M0, M1 to be matched. Parameter w has range from 12u to 60u in 10 steps. In global optimization setting, I set reference point as starting point, which is 19.95u.

After running global optimization, run log | log file viewer shows 17.33u is the optimal. But in results window, nominal shows "netl err". Error is

ERROR (ADEXL-5012): While netlisting run GlobalOpt.6, point 10, test macroModel:27:1, received error:
Netlist Error:
------------------------------
Failed to create netlist.

For details open log: /home/fjiao/logs_fjiao/Job5.log for the point: (3 10)

I don't know why I am getting this eorr. I am new to use ADE XL/GXL tools, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you very much for your reply, Andrew. I am a graduate student, so I will ask department staff to see if we can get access.
