QRC: Replace a sub-cell with schematic view

Hi Guys,

Basically I have a handcrafted capacitor made up of a transistor connected to a fringe type structure of metals .

My problem is my extracted netlist is huge when I extract this device as all the metal lines in the fringe structure are being extracted.

I have tried a few options by increasing the Cmin  and MinR Filtering values. The problem with this is the resulting C and R values for a reasonable sized netlist are different compared to the original netlist. i.e. C increases by 10% after filtering, which isn't great.

I was wondering is it possible to replace this cell with a schematic version of the cell during extraction ? similar to the hcell option for other cells ?

Thanks,

Niall.
