Pnoise, rms noise voltage & nyquist freq & beat freq

Hello,

I am doing simulations with pss pnoise to calculate the input referred noise of a comparator. My question is that why does integrated noise (rms voltage) changes when I change the nyquist frequency of my block ? I have been to a workshop in Eindhoven in October where you introduced using pnoise analysis for the comparator block. The document corresponding to the workshop states that pnoise takes into account the folded noise. From my understanding, if folded noise is also considered, the integrated noise should not change with the nyquist frequency.

I would also appreciate if you can explain how noise is calculated with pnoise analysis and transient analysis. I would especially like to understand why rms noise voltage change with the beat frequency of pss & pnoise.

Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,

Emir Kesici
