How to show only "used layers" by default?

Hi,

is there a way to show only "used layers" by default? Every time I open a layout all valid layers are listet. But most of the time only the used layers are interesting.

And: Is there a way to set all layers "none selectable" by default?

Thank you and kind regards!

    Hi Magistus,

Normally you have to check 'used layers only' in the LSW window every time you launch cadence. But be careful because you can't see the new layers that you will add of course ( I'm using virtuoso 6.1.5).

    Ayoub,

See this post (for IC616 at least - may work in IC615 as well, I didn't check): Layer Palette: Set Used Layers as default

    Andrew.
