reltol settings < 1e-3

hello,

i'm having a difficult time getting AMS/Spectre to recognize reltol setting=0.01.  even if i uncheck all errpreset and manually type in 0.01 in reltol field, i still see the errpreset set to "moderate" and reltol set to "0.001" when viewing the irun.log.  even stranger , in one section of the log, under "global user options" i do see my desired setting of 1e-2, however, under "transient analysis" section (sub-section "important parameters" is where reltol reverts back to 1e-3).  is there some setting i'm overlooking?

i'm using CIC 6.1.6, by the way.

thanks in advance to those who can help,

david
