Closing schematics leaving it in read only mode

Hello,

Is it possible to leave schematics, layout, etc. in read only mode after closing them, in IC 6.x?

Very often I work with more IC instances open, each running on a different server. If I open a schematic in IC@server1 and then I close it, I can't open it in IC@server2 (even if the username is the same) unless I press "Make Read Only" before closing it on server1.

I would like to have an automatic "Make Read Only" setting when I close a schematic, layout and so on.

Thank you very much

Best regards

Aldo.

    Hi Aldo,

The schematic should get closed and hence released from edit mode unless something is opening the schematic and forgetting to close it (maybe it's something in our code, or maybe it is some custom SKILL code?)

Probably best to go to customer support for this so that we can take a look and try to get to the bottom of this with you.

    Kind Regards,

    Andrew.
