EM Analaysis Differenent Results

Hi,

I am running em analysis on a design, by generating extracted view, and spice file for Virtuoso Power System Tool. Here I am getting all the layers and also failed resistors. I am generating(VAVO db as output)

When i am using DSPF file for the same design for emir analysis, and using spectre command line emir analysis with emir.conf fle. for the same design i am not seeing any violations, which i have seen earlier when run on extracted view. I am generating (emir0_bin as output).

Why this is happening. In the both cases the simulator is spectre only, but why i am seeing this difference. and also when i am running with the dspf netlist input, i am not seeing any via layers in the report file generated by emirutil. is there any extra commands do i need to put in emir.conf file for detail reporting of individual resistors.

Please provide some help on this...

Thanks

Harish

    Hi Harish,

I think this will be pretty hard to debug without seeing the specifics of your setup, so please contact customer support.

    Kind Regards,

    Andrew.
